  • ZERONA Non-Invasive Body Slimming

    • What is ZERONA?

      ZERONA Non-Invasive Body Slimming is a low-level laser treatment designed to remove fat and slim the body without invasive surgery. ZERONA is six, quick and painless treatments administered over a two week period. You simply lie under the ZERONA slimming device for 40 minutes, 20 minutes on your front and 20 minutes on your back. ZERONA uses a clinically-proven, safe low-level laser that does not produce heat.

    • What areas of the body can I use ZERONA on?

      The ZERONA treatment can be used effectively on essentially every part of the body where localized fat deposits exist that are resistant to diet and exercise. Most patients start with treating the waist, hips and thighs which can all be targeted in 1 treatment. Other areas include upper arms, bra-line fat, inner knees, back fat and buttocks.

    • Is it safe?

      Yes, there is no risk involved in using the ZERONA low-level laser therapy and it is considered a safe alternative to invasive procedures such as tumescent liposuction and lipodissolve and other non-invasive devices like the Accent, VelaShape, and Thermage, which rely on heating the tissue and can cause discomfort. None of these have the proven data showing how fat cell size is reduced like the ZERONA. The ZERONA treatment is 100% non-invasive and causes no bruising, scarring and zero downtime. During the treatment you feel no discomfort, no anesthesia will be used and you can assume normal activities immediately following each treatment.

    • Are there any side effects?

      No. The treatment process is completely non-invasive and there are absolutely no side effects beyond loss of inches and fat.

    • What do I need to bring to my appointment?

      Please make sure to bring your insurance card as well as a list of your current medications and dosage so Dr. Feinstein can review them to be certain that you are taking the correct dosage.

    • How am I informed about my test results?

      You will be contacted promptly with any abnormal test results. If you are not contacted by us within 2 weeks, please contact our office at 248-809-3694.

    • Which insurance plans do you participate with?

      For your convenience, we participate with most insurance companies as well as Medicare and Medicade. Please make sure to bring your insurance card with you so we can provide you quick and efficient service.

    • How do I request a prescription refill?

      If your prescription is to be filled by a local pharmacy, please contact them 24 - 48 hours before you need your prescription. The pharmacist will have all of the necessary information and will contact our office if additional information is needed.
