1. Cardiovascular Exercise Strengthens The Heart And Lungs. As you age your heart and lungs become less efficient and need to work harder to perform the same work they did at a younger age. Exercising regularly can help keep your heart and lungs strong and working efficiently.
2. Aerobic Activity Helps Burn Unwanted Fat. Burning and eliminating unwanted fat can help combat obesity, as well obesity-related diseases including; heart disease, diabetes and even some forms of cancer.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends at least 150 minutes of moderately intense exercise each week in order to stay fit and healthy. That’s only about 20 minutes a day!
